Yvonne Fizer
Executive Director, Sirolli Institute Canada Ltd. and Director, Business Development

Born outside of Edmonton, Alberta, Yvonne acquired her degree from the University of Alberta with a major in Home Economics and worked in the field of Community Development for the Alberta Provincial Government for several years.

After attending an Enterprise Facilitator Training Course in 1996, Yvonne convinced the Sirolli Institute that there would be a strong market for its services in Canada, and subsequently headed the formation of Sirolli Institute Canada Ltd. She presently serves in the dual capacity as Executive Director for Sirolli Institute Canada and Director of Business Development.

Yvonne’s sole responsibility has been in strategically positioning the Institute as a significant local economic development initiative for communities around the world.  Yvonne helps civic leaders and practitioners navigate through the decision making and fundraising processes to establish a local Enterprise Facilitation service.
